Shoot For Cause

Archery for fun, making a difference for many.

We invite you to join us and archers from across western Canada to enjoy camaraderie and sport with friends new and old. The family-friendly weekend event has been running since 1996 and promises FUN for competitive and non-competitive archers of all experiences and abilities!

2 Part Fundraiser

Part 1: the peer-to-peer online Shoot for Cause Fundraiser

Sign up to participate in the fundraiser and raise funds to earn your spot into the tournament (part 2). Connect with your friends and family to easily collect donations online. Share your fundraising page at your local range, and even get your hunting and shooting buddies to join your team. Our user-friendly peer-to-peer fundraising platform is your one-stop-shop to share your campaign, check your progress and update your activity. Sign up now! When you “join the campaign”, you are committing to raise money and collect donations for Camp He Ho Ha, this is also your first step to attend the weekend event (part 2).

Part 2: Attend the 2024 Shoot for Cause 3D Archery Tournament & Fundraiser weekend.

The tournament will take place May 24-26, 2024, at Camp Health, Hope & Happiness - 1 hour west of Edmonton. When you “join the campaign” (part 1) and collect donations of $500 or more, you qualify for complimentary registration to the tournament! This includes 2 days of archery, home-style meals, accommodations, and ticketed entries into the Grand Prize draws. You DON'T want to miss out! 

  • Date: Friday, May 24, 2024 – Sunday, May 26, 2024
  • Time: 7 pm Registration on Friday, May 24, 2024 (No dinner provided)
    • AND Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 7am (Breakfast provided)

  • Location: Camp He Ho Ha, Seba Beach, Alberta (53537 Range Road 55).
  • Registration: Raise a minimum of $500 to attend FREE

What your participation will do...

Every dollar that you raise directly provides an opportunity to over 600 individuals with mental and/or physical disabilities each summer to experience 5-days in an all-inclusive summer overnight camp, completely barrier-free.

All the care and adaptations that are required for a person with a disability are provided by Camp He Ho Ha. This includes all personal care, activity adaptations, an accessible environment, and most importantly, unconditional love and acceptance. Our overnight programs also give much-needed respite to families and caregivers who can relax from the demands of caring for a family member with a disability, knowing their loved one is safe.

Together with your participation and/or donation to the #ShootForCause, we are able to build the future of Camp He Ho Ha ensuring that people with disabilities experience inclusive activities barrier-free. 

With your support, we will be able to:

  • Develop and deliver inclusive barrier-free programming to serve Albertans with disabilities
  • Provide specialized connection, and support for individuals with disabilities and their caregivers and families
  • Connect and empower individuals with disabilities through recreation
  • Provide respite to families and caregivers of individuals with disabilities

What You Need To Know

All funds raised support Camp He Ho Ha programs for people with disabilities.

How To Participate:

Signing up as an individual or forming a #shootforcause challenge team is easy! Here’s how to get involved.

Step ①

Join the Campaign.  Click on the “Join the Campaign” button at the top of the page.

Create an account and a personal fundraising page. It's super easy and we've already done a lot of the work for you!

Step ②

Register. Click on the “Purchase Tickets” (FREE) button at the top of the page and fill in all information for each archer attending the Shoot for Cause 3D Archery Tournament & Fundraiser weekend.

All participants MUST raise a minimum of $500 in pledges/donations to be eligible to attend the Tournament Fundraiser weekend for free.

Step ③

Recruit your team or join a team. Friends, family, co-workers, and hunting buddies unite! This is a great opportunity for archers from across the province to challenge each other to stay shooting, have fun, & raise money for children and adults with disabilities.

Step ④

Share and fundraise. Easily share your fundraising page and reason for joining with friends and family using Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Email, and more.

Step ⑤

Attend the tournament & fundraiser weekend. As a celebration for all your hard work fundraising throughout the campaign, we invite you to attend the 3D archery tournament weekend                                    May 24-26, 2024. 

This archery tournament features two days of outdoor 3D target archery (3 rounds of 20 targets), two nights' accommodations, delicious home-style meals, live and silent charity auction, prizes, and more. "Join the Campaign” and raise a minimum of $500 to attend free.

When you raise a minimum of $500 in donations you qualify for all the following prizes:

➀ Free registration to the 2024 Shoot for Cause 3D Archery Tournament & Fundraiser weekend

➁ A special event T-Shirt

➂ Entry into various Grand Prize draws! (One additional entry for every $100 over $500)
